Today I had a lot of fun with kawaii_kenshin and sixthsky, running to Anime Pavilion (still not getting my check OTL. ), lusting after the Ignis figure and then renting bad B-rate horror movies like Black Sheep and Mall Cop.

It was too late for me to stop by the fabric store but then that reminded me I don't have a shiny Friends Only post or Cosplay plans post like all the cool kids. So while this journal is still public here's my Cosplay Plans?

In other exciting news I got my court date today for my permanent license! Tomorrow I'm going to dinner with all my friends who are going off to college (Q_Q) and... maybe possibly hopefully ohdeargodplease going to aidenesque's crab fest. The rest of summer looks like Color Guard training every day A-L-L day. (8am to 7pm, they mean business) and I'm still no good at marching ;;;
I just can't sleep anymore. I just can't shut my brain off and go to sleep, it's really annoying. I hope boot camp will wear me out enough I'll just crash instead of having to down benadryl to get some shut eye.

I'm really worried for everyone traveling from out of town ;^; be safe you guys and I hope everyone will make it in because this was going to be such a fun weekend D:

I looked up the parking rates for the Gaylord and ouch, what I'm not paying in pricey hotels and food I sure am paying in parking grah. Why you do. I thought originally it was just going to be Morgan and I driving up but anyone in our Alexandria/Arlington need a ride to the con and home and want to split parking with us please? My car can hold up to five with a pretty decent sized trunk.

I spent the better part of the day totally purging my room of any and all clutter. I am a ridiculously sentimental person, virtually every little piece of uselessness that has been floating around my room has a story and reason why I kept it. There's very few things you can get out of MTV but one tip I learned from a show was: "Clear room, clear mind". So it all looks really nice now, I'm not tripping on anything!

Not much going on around here except for Snowpocalypse 2.0. My neighbor across the street is from Florida and went out and dropped $400 for a snow blower and is snow-blowing RIGHT NOW. It is 9pm and the snow is still falling, silly neighbors. This is a freak winter, we really don't get enough snow each year to justify spending that much ;;;; Since I'm trapped inside I've been watching 1 Litre of Tears. Ugh god it is so good ;^; I am so sad, I almost never cry for anything but nearly every episode is a sob fest (in a good way, its excellent). I watched a couple anime series as well including Umineko no Naku Koro ni and Sora no Woto. Umineko- 25 episodes in and I still have no idea why the hell they keep pulling out goat people and bunny girls or what the point of the entire series is except to kill off the characters gruesomely. Sora no Woto is very good, though its a new series and I usually hate having to wait for new episodes week by week /impatient.

Edit;; I went to Dewitt hospital on base this week and today before the snow since I need like 95275987 different blood tests for some reason. Most doctors tell me the exact same thing though the lady I met with on Wednesday thinks I may be anemic? Never gotten that before but okay.

I woke up to like 50 wall posts and tons of texts and tweets, a lot from people who I really thought wouldn't care since I don't know them that well. Thank you everybody I love you all lots and it means so much :^; /super sap.

I really can't believe I'm 18, its just a weird feeling since I can still remember being 14 and thinking 'wow I'm old'. It's off to cigarettes, porn and registering to vote for me. Only 94 days till graduation too, hard to believe, right?

Also more importantly- It's National Lady Gaga Day, rocking out to Mama LG all day hell yeah.

Yesterday I met my shrink and kind of blurted out everything, she's a really awesome lady and I'll be going once in awhile (since I had so much to tell her I needed to schedule a part 2. derp.)
In not so awesome news, SCAD told me they'd be willing to accept a portfolio from me if I sent it. I brought it to school to mail it at the nearby post office and low and behold- in the period shifts my portfolio got jacked by someone. I put it down for a second thinking my classmates would keep an eye on it for me and sure enough all my prints were taken. :l;; My friends were like "Why would anyone want them" and it sucks but during Photo 1 people would ALWAYS steal negatives and prints because they were too lazy to shoot and develop themselves. It's not uncommon to see people take their work and trade with people in other periods so that the original owners never find out. Blah life. I have extras I'll send but they're just not as good copies as that first set.

Yesterday when I took Daisy to the vet they told me her tumor had doubled in size and she would continue to lose weight and only had maybe a few weeks left. She had trouble getting anywhere and had lost so much muscle even sitting and standing was trouble for her.
I stayed up until about 2am with her until she started to fall asleep and then took her to my room. She slept next to me the whole night and when I woke up around 10 am she was still there. Daisy kind of just looked at me and went back to sleep so I rolled over. When I woke up a half hour later she had died. I buried her in her favorite spot in the backyard and spent the rest of the day with my mom.
Daisy would be 17 in about a month since we celebrate our birthdays together. I was about a year old when we adopted her so I've never not had her around, she was the most affectionate and loving cat and I miss her so much I don't know what to do with myself. The doctor kept telling me I would have to make the call within the next few weeks, but I'm happy she could go out on her own terms.
She traveled all the way to Hawaii and back with us and was just the most wonderful friend, there is so much history and I'll never forget her. Not the greatest end to a year, New Year's won't really feel the same.

Today was the first day since the beginning of the year I actually came home at 2:20. I was bored as hell :l. I was approached with being a captain for a possible Winter Guard so I think its time to take the bull by the horns and try and set it up, and I've only got a little while to do it ;;; Almost done with ToS2 :( Aside from that nothing exciting is going on except that I'm getting into crunch time for college apps and portfolios.

All my bbs went back to college and Alexandria is lonely again :[ I miss everyone, even people I don't see regularly and love you guys.

【THE TIME CAPSULE MEME】

So for our actual Thanksgiving dinner we ate Turkey and etc. at 1pm while watching Twilight and Star Trek.
Star Trek > Twilight. As much as I disliked everything from New Moon on, I really enjoyed Twilight as its own standalone story and try to remember it that way, the other three books were chores to read in my opinion. I was also 13-14 when I read Twilight so maybe that had something to do with it hurr, whatevs. That being said I did not like Kristen Stewart or Robert Pattinson for their characters, I can't really suggest anyone else that comes to mind to play those two but I just didn't enjoy the movie period.

Alright so, Mom and I went to Black Friday and got all Christmas shopping (and clothes for the next century) out of the way. I got so much free stuff its ridiculous sshgk ;;; A squishy teddy from Aeropostale, a HUGE red PVC tote bag filled with cosmetics from Victoria's Secret, a wallet from Charlotte Russe and about 800 snowglobes from Macy's (I didn't even buy anything).

Picked up the Last Unicorn because I'm having a mid-life crisis at seventeen apparently ;;; this movie is just as beautiful as I remembered it, I ordered the book and I'm excited to read it c:. When my dad and I weren't playing Poker in our free time I picked up Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World since I put it down a long time ago. I don't know what people are complaining about ;-; this game is amazing, I am so in love. I'm towards the end of Chapter 6! I don't really ship boys together outside of KHR but the game seems to really be pushing Richter/Emil and I am loving every minute of it.

Today was just awesome. Period. I got a job (lololol with the government) shooting Belvoir's architecture and some of the places outside the gates for a website. It. pays. really. well. Granted its a one time thing but its a god-send with AUsa and other expenses looming over my head. Sarah and I both applied for seasonal jobs at Victoria's Secret as well x]
Also Chip asked me to hang sometime, I am the biggest loser.

Though in not-so-awesome news, the email with my portfolio due date came EXTRA late and I'm about a week over the deadline :( Admissions said it was chill but I am still freaking out and drawing like crazy. God bless the SCAD sketching classes this summer ;-; I would be totally screwed without them.

I have a friend getting married tomorrow and she's only 19, I dunno its weird to me that someone I went to church camp with years ago is suddenly tying the knot. I thought your friends all start getting married and stuff when you're older, like 25+? Not 17, why is this bothering me so much I don't know :l

Got back from NYAF/Family Vacay 2009, I'm really glad I got to go because everyone is so amazing and I swear I was  New Yorker in my past life :'[ I love the city too much.

For everyone I just recently friended hey it's Elie! I was Shirley from Geass, pink Ranka from Macross and Jumpsuit Gokudera from KHR (for about 10 minutes). Everyone I met was just amazing :'D Let's all please hang out again like that again?

I owe shout outs to tons of people but gonna go back and chillax since I got really really sick towards the end of the con.

Uhm, so f-list is much more computer-savvy than I am and I have a small problem.

My friend wants me to play RO again with him, I downloaded Renewal, RAG Setup and Sakray but the problem is the PC is just too slow and so clunky it can't open the RAG Setup Application. I've played private RO servers just fine a few years ago on this same computer, it's just a little bit older now. We don't have any photos, only a little music and a fuckton of antispyware programs my parents bought. The internet is very quick but it just locks up whenever I try to set up the game. Is there anyway I can boost the PC's performance?

I know Im pathetic but I don't know anything about computers it's so sad ;-;

Home for an hour, got to dash out and buy Jessica my secret buddy a present, grab some junk food then to den of bitchiness practice before tonight's flood game. Just not very optimistic after one of our captains went on a power trip last night. The title Captain does not give you any right to scream and throw a tantrum, I held my tongue :l. Almost done with my first week of senior year and I'm actually really enjoying myself so far. Yeah classes are a drag but I've found a small change in attitude has taken me a long way in just a few days. I've made a lot of friends and getting back in touch with some of older ones. I have really great people in nearly all my classes and never have to be afraid of feeling too weird or too quiet for a class. I made a lot of 'normal' friends, the ones who don't run up to me and instantly start chatting my ear off about anime. People who genuinely like me for- me and not the fact I cosplay or care that I'm a derp-looking pimply teenager. I really hope these good days will last. I never felt I really belonged in highschool especially after all the bullying at Ireton, but I look forward to school and practice every morning and I'm kind of sad to see the bell ring at 2pm.

I'm also determined to document every part of senior year starting with summer band camp all the way until prom. I keep my camera on me pretty much 24/7 :];;; I've taken tons of pictures and lots of video which I'll compile for the class at the end of the year.

I'm really worried about you f-list I hope things will start going better :( If any of you guys need anything you can always feel free to drop me a line, text or message and I'll answer as soon as possible.

Oh hello LJ I have been super ridic. busy not really but I miss you and owe people like 2o956927 comments.

Today I.... ran around town with achieanon buying fabric and clothes plus just generally popping in and out of stores we thought were interesting. Went by Anime Pavilion, no managers (no surprise) and I dropped off some new Ai-kun's. We stopped by G-Street and picked up fabric for our belly dancing outfits and I grabbed some really lovely pink for Tsukumo. Their fabrics are amazing but the price makes my heart hurt. ;-;

This week has been really eventful, my parents went to a baseball game and came home with a brand new car (I don't even-) so I have the old one! We performed at our first football game and it went great, I was so nervous there was well over a thousand people there. Hung out with my husbando and saw Ponyo which was cute and my Shirley costume arrive the wig should be here next week. Two friends and I bought a ton of chalk and wrote '2010' 'Sen10rs' and other school spirited things all over the school today while some other seniors spray painted the senior lot. I forgot-
My last first-day of high school. Oh I am so sad panda.

My DS is... fried, even if it says it's fully charged it just will NOT turn on. Has anyone ever heard of this or had it happen to them? I was about halfway through Devil Survivor too ;~;

My phone won't hold a charge longer than 3 hours? I have this problem about once a year with LG/Verizon phones, it works perfectly until one day the battery just begins to fail. The only really good way to contact me is to leave me a message or my home phone number (PM for it) though I'm never home anymore so... I guess I apologize in advance for not getting any calls or texts ;-; I miss everyone so so so much you don't understand how lonely VA is without all of you! ;;

Today was a lot of fun and stress. It's getting to the end of the week and while things are really coming together it's getting tough. The Captains are especially stressed out so I ran home ony my lunch break and used all the cookie dough I could find in the house and made an ultra-batch (I forget how many but I made a ton of tiny cookies and fed the whole band). We cut practice short to have a band pool party in my neighborhood. I spent... maybe 10 minutes in the pool before a big game of volleyball. Brass and Colorguard vs. Flutes and Drumline. I got eaten alive by mosquitoes but such a nice way to spend the rest of the day.
I am in all sort of pain from this week, it's a killer on my back and shoulders especially but one more day!
